The worst thing you can do in the restaurant industry is do it all on your own. We know, we know.. as restaurant owners, you tend to want everything done a certain and perfection is the norm for you. However, when was the last time you had enough hours in a day to get everything done? With business growth, comes more responsibilities – at some point, you’re going to have to relinquish SOME control if you want to grow. These are the Power People you need on your team to take your restaurant to the next level.

A Superstar General Manager

This person will be your eyes at all times, even when you are not there. Let’s face it, you may want to be at your restaurant 24/7 to make sure things are running smoothly but if you want to have any sort of life, then you need a GM. Train them and trust them to do the job properly, this alone will save you at least 20 hours a week. Remember that a GM should be a business person.

A Digital Media Team

Your Accountant

Fairly straight forward, you need to know where you are at financially. Find you an accountant that can not only crunch numbers but one that can find ways to save you even more. Especially with taxes.

A know it all Licensee Consultant/Lawyer

A word of advice, don’t sign any big contracts without consulting a lawyer that has your best interest at heart! In addition to that, having a Licensee Consultant or Lawyer handle your business with the city and permitting bodies will most definitely save you time and money.

A top notch Chef

We’re positive you know what happens when you don’t have a great Chef on your team.. that is all we’ll say about that.

An unstoppable Real Estate Agent

This team member is for when you’re ready to expand! Find a real estate agent that knows your city well, that has friends in the right places and that is a killer negotiator! That person should also have a deep rolodex of landlords so that he is one of the first to know about deals, saving you money!

Well connected food and liquor reps

If you don’t find these guys, you’ll be paying a lot more for your supplies. More than that, a great rep will also go above and beyond, will make sure you get those last minute orders in on time so you don't have to 86 menu options all the time. Finally, a great rep will work a good rebate program with you.
